2011 has seen VCS join forces with sister company ANPR International to offer a technologically advanced enforcement solution that couples our industry leading digital Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology with VCS’s national network of patrol officers.
Having been at the forefront of traditional enforcement practices for two decades we felt that the time is right to expand our product range, giving our clients more choice in how their car parks are protected.
While ANPR offers round the clock monitoring and an array of statistical know-how, it is limited in its ability to police disabled, parent and child or loading areas. By supplementing this with staffed patrols, we are now able to offer a more comprehensive service than ever.
This has already translated into business success, with Berkeley Precinct in Sheffield now being overseen by this combined service. As ANPR gains more and more ground, and shows itself to be the cost-effective solution to a wealth of parking issues, we hope to see extraordinary growth in this sector across the board.
